Chamarado little family in the red valley

wandering-kotka reminded me I never posted this, and I had kind of forgotten repeatedly, mostly because of how poor the anatomy was XD So I drew this like uhhhhhh FOREVER ago, before I had really been focusing on learning how to properly draw men really. So originally Rhoot's leg/lowers were like pointing in a way that would have him 1. monstrously contorted and 2. walking into his son XD I dug it up after K reminded me, and I at least fixed it some. There are so many mistakes, and the kids look weird but hey, I'm gonna still pop it up because damn it's cute. Plus, my recent poll said you wanted more sketches. I may redo this some day but maybe not. So you know, forever and a day later, meet Jia and Rhoot's family (those who haven't already XD )

After the war ends, Jia helps the Lady just a little longer in negotiating some things with Earth (the Lady gives up her rule of Earth as Queen officially after the War to another of the Earth Royalty since she cannot live there any longer and is bound to the Cloaked World), but she really wants to travel with Rhoot as well. The Lady recognizes what's right for her children even when they don't, so she grants Rhoot the valley he loved on Earth, and tasks Jia with delivering the news.

The short story blurb I wrote about it, again, forever ago XD:
"It was finally over, three long years of fighting and struggle to beat back the invading armies and reclaim a life of peace in the Solar System. They had done it, and now they did what they could to help rebuild. More and more, the Constellation Senshi found themselves on Earth, interacting with the locals, building relationships and finding places to call home again. Rhoot had found himself coming back to one particular valley that was filled with warm light and tall grass, allowing the peace of the place to welcome him as he moved through the field that had turned red from the evening sun. Behind him, the sound of a Senshi transporting to him was followed by the familiar rustle of the train of Jia's uniform as she approached him and moved into his view. He gave a small smile of welcome tipping his hat a bit in an old habit. Jia took in the view of the valley, in its autumn colors and could easily understand his attraction to this place. She turned back to him, as she had been sent on a mission. “Rhoot, I came with a message from the Lady for you.” Rhoot gave her his undivided attention.

She took a breath, “The Lady knows that you hadn't decided what you were going to do after the War, though she knows you are likely to want to travel some. She would like you to know that she used to own this valley, personally. Now, she feels that it is a part of your life as much as it is hers, and she would like to offer it to you as a home to return to after or between your travels. Well,” Jia's voice dipped into a quiet tone for a moment as she looked down, “to us, actually.”

Having delivered her message, she looked back at him, and saw his eyes had widened a little in surprise. For once, he didn't seem to have anything witty to say. He shifted back to his original position, silently watching the sway of the field. Trying to appear to be accepting of his silence, Jia nodded and turned, starting to move away in order to report back to her mistress. She was stopped when his hand reached out and caught hers. She glanced at him as he continued to gaze out at what was now his land, then back at his hand. It held hers firmly, but didn't pull her to him, and she knew she could probably tug hers away and he would allow her to leave. Though he looked no different from before her interruption, she noticed he appeared to be holding his breath. A small smile on her lips, she came to stand next to him, and interlaced her small fingers with his, joining him in watching the little valley's movement as it swayed in the evening wind.

So, together they built a little home in the valley, from which they did travel the world. They married, and were happy together on this new adventure and new way of life. Eventually, they found they were expecting. While they were both highly capable people, they had no experience with children and were unsure what kind of parents they would be. After all, a mercenary assassin and a royal general aren't exactly roles children (hopefully) figure much into. All the same, they became parents to a little boy, whom they raised with love. Rhoot proved himself to be a fiercely protective father, and Jia enjoyed teaching her child. A few years later, twin girls followed, and the little family thrived together, welcoming many of the Constellations as visitors, each being called "Aunt", "Uncle", and so on. Of course, their closest family was Lupus and Lynx and their daughter, whom their son especially adored.  (Also, Roh let the girls climb all over him in wolf form).

Son: RJ (Rhoot Jr). RJ's name was never really settled so it's RJ now XD. He has black hair, but inherits Rhoot's green eyes. Adventurous and a bit wild, he loves to hear stories from both his parents (of course in coded language). He wishes he had a sword like his dad, so he pretends a lot using a stick as a sword. Rhoot teaches him swordplay, and other little tricks here and there. Not TOO much trouble, but enough to survive anywhere if need be. RJ inherits both his parent's intelligence, he becomes very charming when he grows older. Tends to be quite protective of his sisters, even if they don't need it. He was excited to be a big brother and sees it as his job to be a good one.
Identical twin girls (Kae and Bo): Jia named  them after her mother and sister, Kae Tam and Bo Lin (Kae and Bo). They both also have black hair, along with dark blue eyes. They mostly look like mini Jias <3 Jia styles their hair in traditional royal style from her culture as technically they are also princesses... Rhoot and RJ are surrounded by princesses. Now he pretends to kidnap them and his son has to rescue them. Terrifyingly intelligent, they tend to listen to their parents, but have a lot of mischief in them too. Like her mother before her, Jia teaches them hand to hand combat and eventually gives them both daggers. Anyone who thinks they can take advantage of them will find out how wrong they are. They adore their brother, and when teens, will give an ultimate tongue lashing to anyone who insults him.
Mr Reptile (Jia's actual pet Chameleon) Mr Reptile lives MUCH longer than a normal Jackson's Chameleon (Jia suspects Cloak may have altered him), he's still alive and healthy as the children grow up, and the twins adore him. He still likes Rhoot best XD Kae's holding him there at the bottom right.

Also, I didn't have any idea how to dress poor Rhoot so random outfit he got. >_<
Oh, and after the War, Jia makes the Chameleon token stone into a necklace. All the others are kept in a bag. Modern day Dorado, Moni, finds it as a necklace in the bag ^u^
