Hello all! I am opening a few slots of my "Energized Portraits"

What are "Energized Portraits"? They're bright, bold limited color palette marker illustrations of your character, with some white gel pen added. Please check the bottom of this post for more examples! I pick the colors, and I try to find a little something to use for a spot color (glasses, a drink, jewelry, ect).

I'm opening three slots, one is reserved for my Patrons until tomorrow (if there are no takers for it, it will be open for general public when I'm up and moving on the 20th.

• They will be USD $60 each via paypal invoice, and as they are small enough to fit in a greeting card, I will mail them worldwide when finished.

• approx mid-thigh to waist, depending on the character, please keep in mind that the vibrant background is a big part of the fun so characters with big wings or other similar things that block most of the background may not be the right choice to get the best result! Also patterns or markings may be simplified or left out in this style.

Hello friends!

I hope everyone's been doing well! I haven't had commissions open for a while due to a rough first few months of the year health wise, but I'm back with a special commission type.

I have commissions open for a special type of ACEOs, "Rainbow ACEOs". They will be USD $20 each via Paypal. I'll draw your character on an ACEO (2 1⁄2 by 3 1⁄2 inches /64 mm × 89 mm cardstock) but the coloring is all rainbow pastel colored marker! The background can be black or another color if preferred (default is black if you don't mention a preference). While these are similar to "2-color" ACEO cards, they will be the same price as my regular ACEOs because the rainbow coloring and blending is more work-intensive. As always, I will mail them for free world-wide in a greeting-card sized envelope. These will be open for ordering from Sunday May 21st - Tuesday May 23rd, pacific time (I'll close them when I wake up on Wednesday). Each person may order up to four cards, and I can combine cards to make couples or trios (at $20 per card).

Hello all! It's been a hot minute since I hosted a gift exchange and the secret santa season is over so how about we do another? I'll be hosting this here and on toyhouse so please read on:

What: It's a head shot art exchange. Let's make another artist's day with some lovely art gifts!

• Most OCs accepted in this one. Original characters, fan characters, closed species all are welcome! HOWEVER, humanoid only! No ferals or fully anthro (animal muzzles/beaks, ect) due to my and many of my watcher's lack of skill in this area! They must be your character, and no canon characters.

• There is no theme this time!

• This exchange will run for a month and a half BUT make sure you have time to complete artwork in time before joining. I recommend starting sooner than later to avoid running out of time.

• If you trade your character during the time of the exchange, you are still committed to finishing your half, so PLEASE do not include characters you are considering trading, thanks.

• You must watch me either here or on toyhouse so that you see updates and I can easily contact you

• ART REQUIREMENTS: Your art must be at least a shoulder up drawing, fully colored, no sketches (if you work in grayscale only, please note me first before signing up and I will approve on a case by case basis on the merit of completeness/shading/texture, ect, if you do not do this, your work will be expected in color)

• Assignments sent out: March 20th/21st (please be patient as Nicky often has health challenges and may be a little slow).

How we'll do it this time

• I can't update journals which I used to depend on to remind people of deadlines, any changes, ect. INSTEAD, I'll be adding everyone who signs up to a note mailing-list (or DM on on TH) and everyone will receive a couple periodic note reminders of the amount of time left on the exchange, if they have not completed theirs yet. In addition, I will use status updates to also remind, and also feature the most recent art that was done! I'll still be adding all the artwork to the main journal and bulletin hub though <3

• If your character is hosted on Toyhouse and you are set to signed-in or authorize only, PLEASE make sure you provide a key in your comment so that your secret person can see it. Not everyone who signs up has toyhouse and/or may not be a close friend of yours.

• When you finish your exchange piece please comment on the journal or bulletin that you have finished it so I know it has been finished. Please either note, DM, or respond to the person who signed up so they don't miss their gift! If your person/you don't have an account on the same website, let me know and I can deliver it for you. Sorry this is clunky but trying to include more people!

• Otherwise, the format is the same. Everyone will get assigned someone to draw, and that person will draw for a third person, and so on. More info in rules

Rules/Information

• PLEASE SEE CHARACTER AND ARTWORK GUIDELINES THE "WHAT" SECTION! THE BIG ONE:

• If you sign up, you are committing to finishing your part on time. Everyone deserves a lovely gift, so make sure you're only signing up if you can finish yours <3 Consider blocking out time early for it if you're a chronic procrastinator or have social engagements near the end of the exchange. If you did not complete yours from the prior Exchange you may not sign up this time.

• You must be a watcher of mine either on DA or TH, as I will be updating with statuses in addition to the less frequent reminder notes.

• To prove you read all this above and below and agree to everything, tell me your favorite fruit or berry.

• If there is someone you would prefer not to draw for or receive from that you see signed up, please note me BEFORE March 20th and I will accommodate your request. This is kept entirely confidential. Please send me this even if you have before because I don't have my old list handy/don't know if there may be changes.

• This is a Secret Exchange, so if you have any questions about your assignment, please note me and I will get an answer on your behalf. Also, DON'T spoil the surprise with livestreams or sharing WIPs, you never know who is watching/in discord/ect!

• I do try to mix everyone up so people get new partners each time but keep in mind I do need to accommodate special requests for when folks just don't mesh (it happens!) and also if you've been in several exchanges I run and moderate, you may get repeats. Please always be kind to your artist, we're all doing our best and not everyone is at the same skill level. <3

• All art must be your own. No tracing, bases, or dollmakers please. Pixel art is allowed, however bases MUST be your own, and credit must be given for any resources you use that are not yours. Absolutely no use of A/I generated images in part or in whole. If you use anything made in part or in whole by A/I generated images in your piece and I find out, you will be banned from any future exchanges. I do not support these images from a legal and ethical standpoint and this is not up for discussion. Thank you.

• Art must be fully lined and colored (unless you reached out to me regarding grayscale artwork) and must be at least a bust/shoulder-up. No sketches.

• You may post your secret assignment as soon as you are finished! Final deadline for posting is May 8th last time zone. If for whatever reason you cannot complete your assignment, please note me IMMEDIATELY so that I may find a replacement. You may not be able to join the next exchange unless it's an emergency (in hospital, ect)

• When you finish your exchange piece please comment on the journal or bulletin that you have finished it so I know it has been finished. Please either note, DM, or respond to the person who signed up so they don't miss their gift! If your person/you don't have an account on the same website, let me know and I can deliver it for you. Sorry this is clunky but trying to include more people!
