Because it's starting to feel like fall here, with the tempature cooling and leaves turning.
My characters Kyoko and Toshi (the little girl) in fall-paterned kimonos. I used this same pattern for a japan travel poster I did for Graphic Design class last year. the drawing itself is about a year old, kimono pattern and color done just recently. Edit: I just learned that there is an incorrect and correct way to draw the way a kimono opens. To the right means living, and to the left means dead. So Toshi here arranged her kimono as if she was dead, because I didn't know better. She's living, so sorry Toshi! |
