CS ST8 Fishy Friends

For Seasonal Task 8: Return of Bikini Season


Iolana and Moni get along rather well, with Moni finding her fellow Fish constellation to be incredibly sweet and easy to like (as well as very energetic). She liked that Lana tended to think about things that she never really did, such as if it was okay for them to eat fish... while the two were enjoying lunch. She asked if maybe it might be... cannibalism... Moni had chewed her sushi thoughtfully, consulted the menu, and ordered some with tobiko (flying fish roe) on it. She tried it and declared that Lana's people's children were delicious. Lana didn't know whether to laugh or be slightly horrified. Moni comforted her that many fish ate other fish anyway, so no big deal.

Moni also gets invited to come hang out with her in Hawaii, where Moni of course asked if Lana would like to snorkel. Ever the marine scientist, it's one of Moni's favorite things to show Lana so many of the fish and later teach her about them.

I really like how this came out, and I even took several photos of myself sitting like Iolana to get that pose.

The fish roe was an idea that came up in a stream after KOSMOS-ver3 pointed out the cannibalism thing and I said Moni definitely eats fish. I think the roe bit was suggested by KOSMOS-ver3 and someone but I could be wrong! Stole it though XD
